How did we start?
Our Story & Vision
Paul Odom established Fonté Coffee Roaster in 1992, with the intention to offer quality dark roast to Seattle. Fonté’s Master Roaster, Steve Smith, joined Paul to bring many years of coffee roasting experience to Fonté. Steve’s wealth of coffee knowledge and Paul’s drive to create a successful business were the recipe for success. Today Fonté roasts daily at their headquarters located in Georgetown. Fonté also has a joint venture with a hospitality management company in Dublin, Ireland which supplies Ireland and the EU with Fonté coffee and equipment services. Fonté offers wholesale coffee for high-end hospitality, including hotels, restaurants and independent coffee bars as well as online at fontecoffee.com. Additionally, there are two Fonté Cafe bars, located in downtown Seattle and Bellevue, Washington. Fonté Cafe & Wine Bar became the first bar to become LEED’s certified in Seattle back in 2010.
