Brasil Peaberry excels in displaying the flavors and mouthfeel characteristically developed in softer coffees. Very complete and balanced, the medium body has a distinctive mousse-like texture. Brighter than many Brasils, the acidity carries a red fruit flavor that calls to mind early harvest plum. The finish is clean and lightly dry with plenty of caramel and cocoa powder notes.

Fonté’s 24th version of Holiday Blend combines three peaberry beans—Brasilian, Aged Sumatra, and Tanzanian. What makes it so unique? The peaberry bean is created when only one of two seeds develops in the original fruit; it is known for its distinguished oval shape, and represents only two to eight percent of seeds produced by a given coffee tree. Fonté’s master roaster, Steve Smith, describes the inspiration and detail that consummates this year’s Holiday Blend.
